RICO

ABOUT

Rico is a highly exciting 5-year-old gelding who has all the qualities to develop into a horse for the very top of the sport. He may have his own unique jumping technique, but the amount of scope he shows is simply outstanding! He is extremely careful, has a fantastic attitude, and always demonstrates an incredible willingness to do his job. During our video day, what really stood out was how effortlessly Rico jumped the bigger fences. He makes even the highest obstacles look easy, showing tremendous scope combined with an exceptional mentality and a great fighting spirit. And then there is his absolutely outstanding damline! His dam is a sister to none other than In The Air, who won the prestigious 5-star Grand Prix of Barcelona just last week with Jessica Mendoza! She is also a sister to Summerhouse, another successful 1.60m Grand Prix horse. An incredibly exciting young prospect combining enormous scope, carefulness, an outstanding attitude, and a truly world-class pedigree. Rico could well be a future superstar at the highest level of international showjumping!
