Spitfire – beautiful offspring of Opium JW van de Moerhoeve
Spitfire is a striking offspring of Opium JW van de Moerhoeve and has been backed and started under saddle over the past months. He has taken this very well and, although still quite green, is a pleasant and willing horse to work with.
He shows an excellent model, a beautiful color, and plenty of presence. He jumps with great ease and lightness, is careful, and already finds higher fences easy to jump.
His dam line is equally impressive, featuring a strong record in top-level sport. His granddam is the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Domina III, who produced two approved 1.50m stallions, including the successful For the Moment, ridden by Wout-Jan van der Schans.
In the case of direct export to non-EU countries, VAT is no longer applicable (21% becomes 0%). If the export is delayed (but happens as soon as possible), the VAT will be refunded after we have received the official export document (which is drawn up by customs).
